Did you know that 20% of children are suffering with a mental health disorder? Being a teen is challenging, but do you have a workable plan to help you teen meet the emotion challenges? This course will teach participants how to recognize acute and prolonged stress behaviors. Participant will learn how to become proactive rather than reactive to inappropriate emotional responses. Participant will learn the signs of emotional distress/crisis and how to respond compassionately while accessing professional help. This course will provide participants with an overview of childhood mental disorders. Also, participants will to use their knowledge of childhood mental disorders to provide a mental health professional with vital information regarding the atypical behavior or thought patterns of their child.
