These programs provide a continuum of community-based mental health services for girls and boys who display behaviors that may, without treatment, lead to out-of-home placement or interfere with academic progress. The programs assist children as they transition from out-of-home placement, help children maintain healthy living conditions with their families, and also provide extensive school-based mental health supports. The focus of each family team is to identify the child's strengths and help to develop those strengths to maintain healthy interactions within the community.
